Tessa Sacramone, originally from the Greater New Haven area, is a violinist living in the city of Boston and working towards her MMus. in violin performance at Boston University studying under Bayla Keyes. A classically trained musician, she plays orchestral, chamber, and solo repertoire of that genre, but also participates in ensembles and concerts of rock, pop, indie, and new music. She frequently works with composers and artists of various genres in studio settings and most recently recorded select tracks for Glassnote Records artist Oberhofer on his album Time Capsules II produced by Five-time Grammy Award winner Steve Lillywhite. Stemming from her lust for travel, she spent Spring 2011 studying music in Florence, Italy where she and her piano trio performed frequent gigs and put on a solo concert for the community of Prato with renowned Italian flutist Roberto Fabbriciani. She attended The Meadowmount School of Music and Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in recent summers under the private instruction of Ann Setzer, with whom she studied for four years. In her free time she enjoys songwriting and singing, drinking tea, and being outside!
