Tessa Sacramone, based in the Greater New Haven area, is a freelance violinist who recently completed her MMus in violin performance at Boston University studying under Bayla Keyes. A classically trained musician, she plays orchestral, chamber, and solo repertoire of the genre, but also performs rock, pop, indie, folk, and new music. She frequently works with composers and artists in studio settings such as Glassnote Records artist Oberhofer on his album Time Capsules II produced by Grammy Award winner Steve Lillywhite. She has attended The Meadowmount School of Music and Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in recent summers under the private instruction of Ann Setzer, with whom she studied for four years during her time at New York University. Tessa also writes original acoustic folk music which she sings and performs on her violin and guitar. In her free time she enjoys outdoor exploration, traveling, biking, writing, drinking tea, and attending live concerts!
